FTPEditor 4.0.4 has been released. It is a maintenance releases which fixes several bugs. It also improves the integrated auto-update routine which will now better detect and display new versions. When a new version is detected a dialog shows the release notes of the new version and gives you the choice to download & install the update directly.

FTPEditor 4.0.4 is available for download immediately. Please refer to the release notes for a detailed list of fixes in this release.

After a really long time FTPEditor 4 finally has been released.

As we mentioned earlier FTPEditor and FTPEditor Pro have been combined into one product to make things easier allover. FTPEditor 4 comes with a completely new FTP engine, which is more stable and faster than previous versions.

FTPEditor 4 is available immediately and costs $49 (USD) for a single user license. Volume discounts are available. Upgrades are free to all FTPEditor Pro customers. To upgrade from FTPEditor (standard version) costs $19 (USD). Upgrades can be performed from within FTPEditor (starting FTPEditor versions 3.1 and above), by selecting “Help | Check for New version”.

We still offer a free 15-day trial version of FTPEditor which offers the complete functionality for the evaluation period.

Today we released version 3.3 of FTPEditor and FTPEditor Pro. The release contains many improvements which increase the stability and usability. For detail have look at the Version History.

All users of FTPEditor (Pro) 3.2 can upgrade to the new version for free using the built in update process. Select “Check for New Version” from the “Help” menu.
Users having an older version (before 3.2) – please contact us to upgrade to the new version.

After problems were reported with the manual registration of all FTPEditor versions, we published version 3.2.1 which solves this problem.
Only users having problems entering serial numbers to activate FTPEditor 3.2 need to download this new version.

Edit Files Directly on Your FTP Server

FTPEditor.com has released FTPEditor Pro v. 3.1, a Windows FTP client and multi-document editor for webmasters, web developers, and web site owners. Unlike FTP clients that concentrate on transferring local files to remote serviers, FTPEditor Pro makes it easy to edit remote files directly. You can work with multiple documents in multiple places, and make backups of all of your work on your local computer.

To make file editing easier, FTPEditor Pro provides color-coded syntax highlighting, not only for HTML, but for all of the other major web site programming languages, including PHP, Perl, SQL, C++, ASP, and Java. There is an HTML preview function that uses the system default browser to preview the current file, without saving it to the server. FTPEditor Pro provides firewall and proxy support.

FTPEditor 3.1 and FTPEditor Pro 3.1 have been released.

This minor update version comes with a large number of small improvements and fixes. GIF support in image preview, auto-reloading of external change files and Directory bookmarks in SiteManager are only a few things which have been added.
