7. Editor Options
For each syntax highlighting module a large set of features can be set indepently by using the Editor Properties dialog. Use the or the editor pop-up menu (right mouse key).
7.1 Options Tab
In the Options tab you may edit general features of the current file type.

- Print Options
- Wrap long lines - wrap long lines of text to make them fit on the paper
- Line numbers - print line number
- Title in header - print the document title in the page header
- Date in header - print the current date in the page header
- Pages numbers - print out the page numbers on each page

- Other options
- Visible right margin - show right margin line in specified column
- Visible gutter - display an area left to the editor field which may contain additional information as line numbers, bookmarks,...
- Gutter width - specify the size of the gutter area
- Block indent step size - blocks are indent by the amount of characters entered here (use Strg-K-I to indent a selected block)
- Word wrap column - enter the number of characters after which lines are wrapped (only if Word wrap is turned on)
- Tab Columns - enter comma-seperate list of columns to use with Tabs
- Tab stop - tabulator step size
7.2 Highlighting Tab

In the Highlighting Tab you may change colors and text attributes for all elements of the current syntax highlighting module. You change these settings for an element and see the results in the preview area. Once you are finished press the Ok-Button and the current settings will be applied to the editor.
